![]() ![]() Scythe is by far the worst of those 3 against giant mole (200 def level/80 slash def) for example and mole does not even give tbow its maxed stats. Currently it is just much worse as soon as a monster has a somewhat high def lv and slash defense. With this, scythe acually becomes competitive with Tbow/Shadow against bosses all 3 can be used against to their full potential. This means that it keeps its niche as "melee weapon against big opponents" while also making it not reliant on defense reducing specs, the major selling point for the other 2 big raid weapons. Make it so that scythe gets a 15% accuracy bonus for 2x2 opponents and a 30% for 3x3 opponents on top of a charge reduction to 2 blood runes. Scythe has nothing like this, so it is relying on either extremely low slash def or BGS/DWH specs a majority of times. Tbow is a % bonus so any range accuracy/str gets scaled by the % increase depending on enemy mage level, shadow has a flat 300% on both values depending on your own gear, so the same applies. I would love for Scythe specifically to get an increase in accuracy depending on enemy size to make it on par with the other 2 raid items that have ways to increase accuracy depending on your armor. * You guys keep ruining this one with the lower thresholds for Hiscores :') → More replies → More replies But just thought it might be food for thought regarding points for CAs. Note that we have fewer Easy and GM tasks than the other tiers, hence why the gap between Easy and Medium may be larger than expected and the gap between Master and GM may be smaller than expected. The tiers are currently split as follows: get Hiscores for all bosses*) and our lowest are worth 25, with tasks for every step of 25 in between. It's all a work in progress right now, but our highest points tasks are worth 300 (e.g. I then took each tier and added/subtracted multiples of 25 points per task if they felt harder/easier than the 'average' task in that tier, respectively. (We also have compulsory tasks per tier, but these are mainly clan-related, such as taking part in events or mentoring.) This is because the difficulty of some tasks in the same tier vary wildly. Upon further inspection it made more sense for us to go through each task and weight it per task than to care about existing tiers (other than to loosely group point ranges). Having to get 5 Zuk KC (one of our GM tasks) is a lot tougher than wielding a dragon scimitar (one of our Easy tasks). The balance that felt more appropriate was approximately 25-50 points for Easy and 200-300 for Grandmaster. When having a look at it, it felt unfair to give Easy 25 points whilst giving Grandmaster 150. We were also considering turning it into a points-based system. And, like the CAs, we use Easy to Grandmaster tiers. ![]() My ironman clan has a ranking system which has various tasks on it, like the CAs. Most Grandmaster tasks are much harder than the majority of, say, Hard tasks. In my opinion the scaling for points from Easy to Grandmaster shouldn't be quite linear.
